Sandringham

Frankston, Pakenham, Belgrave, Lilydale, Sandringham, and Glen Waverly are a few train lines that I can easily think of off the top of my head. Being a victim of public transport and a curious soul I often look at people and wonder where could they be off to? why aren’t they at work today? Have they touched on with their MyKi?

Have you ever wondered what is at the very end of the train line?

I had a day off recently, the sun was shining and I didn’t want to be stuck inside. I had all my errands complete and decided to go on a little adventure. Ive now been living in Melbourne for the last three months and I realise that I’m not getting any younger, I want to get to know Melbourne and everything it has to offer!

I went to the train station and hopped on the Sandringham line. I had a few options, I could get off at Balaclava and go to St.Kilda or hop off somewhere in Brighton and see the iconic coloured huts on the beach or explore the boutiques and cafes Church Street has to offer.. Or I could kill my curiosity and go all the way to the end of the line and see what exactly is in Sandringham.

Have a look at some pictures I took to get a better look of the area for yourself.

Sandringham beach is absolutely beautiful! It is very peaceful unlike fast paced St.Kilda beach and Brighton beach where you would have to fight for a spot on a sunny day. Not in Sandringham!

There is a Coastal Art Trail which sounds very inviting. If I had a bicycle I would be all over the art trail!.. but sadly I don’t :( but if you have a bicycle or any form of transport besides your two feet read up on the Coastal Art Trail Here.
