Peter Jolie was born, baptized and raised a Roman Catholic in the city of Melbourne, Australia. In recent years, he has taken a liking to attending modern day Christian churches, and likes to watch Christian programs on television. As a child, he was fascinated with reading his mum and dads encyclopedia, a 15 volume set made in the United States in the year 1949, called Richards Topical Encyclopedia. Much of his knowledge of the formation of the earth came from him reading about it in this encyclopedia.

Jolie had first believed that the events described in Revelation, chapter 10 would happen on the 21st of December, 2012, but now concludes the date marks the beginning of this era.
