The Multimedia Marketing Show Releases Video with Tips on Improving Audio and Raw Video Footage Submission

Melbourne, Au (PRWEB) November 28, 2012

The founder of The Multimedia Marketing Show, Jake Hower, releases a short video on using the Zoom H1 device to improve sound quality in videos and on submitting raw video footage.

There are several ways a user can leverage the Zoom H1 to improve the sound quality of his or her videos.

You can hold it underneath a frame, as Im doing here. It provides much better audio, said Mr. Hower.

You can also mount it on top of the camera, and use it almost like a boom mike or a shotgun mike, he continued.

Users can also use the Zoom H1 as a USB microphone on their laptops. They can buy an accessory pack with a stand for the Zoom H1 to sit on.

You can mount it on a stand for your podcasts and interviews, said Mr. Hower.

Hower also gives some advice to clients on using the Zoom H1 for their video submissions to VideoEditz.

One thing Id suggest you do is keep the audio in your camera shooting at the same time if youre using one of these. That way when you provide the two files to us, we can easily match this audio against the camera audio and replace it. This little thing provides much better audio clarity, said Mr. Hower.

After the audio tips, Hower gives tips to clients on shooting their video to submit to VideoEditz.

He suggests that clients shoot their raw footage in one take and submit the entire thing as one file to VideoEditz.

It makes it easiest to edit. You dont need to be talking for the entire camera shot. You can just speak one point at a time. Then take a break to gain composure for your next speaking point. What well do when you give us the file is edit out those breaks in between, explained Mr. Hower.

Business owners interested in more tips on making their video footage easy-to-edit can head across to http://multimediamarketingshow.com/ where they can subscribe via email to receive all tips and a weekly podcast with expert guests.

Pan Australian Travel Releases Video Blog Filled with Travel Tips from Bali and Beyond

Melbourne, Au (PRWEB) December 01, 2012

In its weekly video blog, Pan Australian Travel shares travel tips from its Managing Directors recent trip to Bali.

Most hotels in Bali offer a service where a staff member will meet a passenger at the arrival gate to help the passenger get through customs, collect baggage, and get his or her visa.

We can also arrange it for you regardless of which hotel youre staying at, said Jake Hower, Managing Director of Pan Australian Travel.

Based on his own experience with this on his recent trip to Bali, the assistance upon arrival helped speed up the process considerably.

It took us about 10 minutes to get all the way through the airport once we landed as opposed to 45 minutes without the service. It was well worth an extra 20 or 30 dollars per person to have that service, said Mr. Hower.

In the video (click here for the video), Jake also advises against riding scooters on trips since most travel insurance policies do not cover travellers who get into an accident on a scooter.

If you rent a scooter, check your travel insurance policy to see if it covers scooters. Frankly, the risks associated with not being covered are probably not worth it, advised Mr. Hower.

Jake also advises travellers to take the socks offered by airlines whenever they are offered. These socks have been designed to increase blood flow so that passengers can decrease their risks of getting DVT problems.

The last tip Jake imparts is to get noise cancelling headphones for long flights.

Noise-cancelling headphones are good for a couple of reasons. One is that theyre great for watching shows on the plane. You can also keep them unplugged and put them over your ears to cut out a lot of the engine noise. Theyre actually quite good for sleeping in as well, advised Mr. Hower. Its well worth it to invest in a good pair of noise-cancelling headphones if you travel long distances once or twice a year.

Travellers looking for more tips can go to the blog at Pan Australian Travel.

Business Travel Management Releases Video to Impart Travel Tips from Bali

Melbourne, Au (PRWEB) December 07, 2012

In its weekly video blog, Business Travel Management shares travel tips from its Managing Directors recent trip to Bali.

Bali hotels usually offer an airport assistance service where their staff will meet passengers at the arrival gate to help them get through customs, collect baggage, and get their visa more efficiently.

Regardless of the hotel you are staying in, we can arrange airport assistance for you, said Jake Hower, Managing Director of Business Travel Management.

Based on his own experience with airport assistance in Bali, the help upon arrival speed up the process considerably.

According to Hower, it took him about 10 minutes to get through the airport once he landed as opposed to the usual 45 minutes without the service.

It was well worth an extra 20 or 30 dollars per person to have that service, said Mr. Hower.

In the video, Jake also advises against riding scooters on Bali trips since most travel insurance policies do not cover travellers who get into an accident on a scooter.

We see a lot of people here who are actually on scooters. Ive got a really big issue with that because your travel insurance in most cases wont actually cover you for riding the scooter, said Mr. Hower.

For travellers who want to ride scooters on their Bali trip, Hower advises them to check their travel insurance policy to see if it covers scooters.

Some airlines also offer socks in flight. Hower advises travellers to take the socks whenever they are offered because these socks have been designed to increase blood flow so that passengers can decrease their risks of getting DVT problems.

The last tip Jake shares with viewers is to get noise cancelling headphones for long flights.

According to Hower, noise-cancelling headphones serve many useful purposes. They can be used to watch shows on the plane, to cut out engine noise, and to sleep in.

Its well worth it to invest in a good pair of noise-cancelling headphones if you travel long distance, advised Mr. Hower.

About Business Travel Management

Business Travel Management is a division of Pan Australian Travel Pty Ltd, which has been in operation since the late 1950s. It is 100% owned and operated by two Australian directors, Chris Daniels and Jake Hower.

Chris and Jake came up with the idea for Business Travel Management after they realized that existing travel companies did not cater well to small and medium enterprises. Meanwhile, Pan Australian Travel was already servicing an existing core of SME clients, so it already had deep expertise in this market segment.

Therefore, Chris and Jake formed Business Travel Management in 2012 to cater to SME business travelers.

The Multimedia Marketing Show Releases Podcast on Shooting High Quality Videos with the iPhone

Melbourne, Au (PRWEB) December 16, 2012

The Multimedia Marketing Show with Jake Hower recently released a podcast interview with iPhone video expert Jules Watkins. Among other things, the interview included topics such as equipment required to make high quality videos and the limitations of the iPhone video camera.

Hower wanted to focus the shows second podcast on shooting videos with the iPhone to provide value to audiences that have limited budgets to spend on video production.

One of the biggest barriers to entry for many people is technology. Not having to go out and invest in expensive video equipment removes one of those barriers for people. The iPhone is probably the first phone that has produced good enough video quality for us to do this, said Mr. Hower.

iPhone video expert Jules Watkins recommended that listeners save money in their video production budget for equipment besides the video camcorder.

Some people will put all their money into the $ 600 camcorder and not invest any more in the other things you need to make good videos. Video is not just about the camera, its about audio and lighting, as well as knowledge about how to create videos, said Mr. Watkins.

The iPhone is a high definition camera and as long as you use it within its limitations, you can create videos on par with some of the $ 900 to $ 1500 D-SLR cameras, he continued.

Despite the fact that the iPhone has great potential to match the video quality of more expensive cameras, Watkins also warns of its limitations.

What I dont recommend, for example, is trying to shoot a football match. Dont try and shoot an amazing football video standing on the touch line with your iPhone. For that kind of video, you need a long zoom lens, said Mr. Watkins.

The interview also goes more in depth on the power of video marketing, ideal uses of the iPhone camcorder, and tools needed to shoot good videos with the iPhone.

Business owners and marketers interested in learning more about turning their iPhone into a video marketing tool to engage with prospects and customers can listen to the full interview at The Multimedia Marketing Show.
