The Multimedia Marketing Show Releases Video with Tips on Improving Audio and Raw Video Footage Submission

Melbourne, Au (PRWEB) November 28, 2012

The founder of The Multimedia Marketing Show, Jake Hower, releases a short video on using the Zoom H1 device to improve sound quality in videos and on submitting raw video footage.

There are several ways a user can leverage the Zoom H1 to improve the sound quality of his or her videos.

You can hold it underneath a frame, as Im doing here. It provides much better audio, said Mr. Hower.

You can also mount it on top of the camera, and use it almost like a boom mike or a shotgun mike, he continued.

Users can also use the Zoom H1 as a USB microphone on their laptops. They can buy an accessory pack with a stand for the Zoom H1 to sit on.

You can mount it on a stand for your podcasts and interviews, said Mr. Hower.

Hower also gives some advice to clients on using the Zoom H1 for their video submissions to VideoEditz.

One thing Id suggest you do is keep the audio in your camera shooting at the same time if youre using one of these. That way when you provide the two files to us, we can easily match this audio against the camera audio and replace it. This little thing provides much better audio clarity, said Mr. Hower.

After the audio tips, Hower gives tips to clients on shooting their video to submit to VideoEditz.

He suggests that clients shoot their raw footage in one take and submit the entire thing as one file to VideoEditz.

It makes it easiest to edit. You dont need to be talking for the entire camera shot. You can just speak one point at a time. Then take a break to gain composure for your next speaking point. What well do when you give us the file is edit out those breaks in between, explained Mr. Hower.

Business owners interested in more tips on making their video footage easy-to-edit can head across to http://multimediamarketingshow.com/ where they can subscribe via email to receive all tips and a weekly podcast with expert guests.

Becoming a success in the highly competitive world of food is a tall order, with new restaurants constantly opening and closing. One of the hardest achievements for any start-up, like Hollywood International Buffet in Melbourne, is to make themselves noticeable in a massive marketplace, and to convince patrons to come dine with them.

The video really captures the essence of the restaurant, David remarks, it shows the high quality food up close, the attentive staff, and great feedback from the patrons.

David continues, Im actually surprised that more eateries havent utilized web video as a way to influence diners. Video is more vibrant than pictures, more explanatory than words, and can convey the energy of a location in a single blink of an eye.

David exclaims that since the restaurants video launch, their demand for custom web videos has escalated. Pan Australian Travel Releases Video Blog Filled with Travel Tips from Bali and Beyond

Melbourne, Au (PRWEB) December 01, 2012

In its weekly video blog, Pan Australian Travel shares travel tips from its Managing Directors recent trip to Bali.

Most hotels in Bali offer a service where a staff member will meet a passenger at the arrival gate to help the passenger get through customs, collect baggage, and get his or her visa.

We can also arrange it for you regardless of which hotel youre staying at, said Jake Hower, Managing Director of Pan Australian Travel.

Based on his own experience with this on his recent trip to Bali, the assistance upon arrival helped speed up the process considerably.

It took us about 10 minutes to get all the way through the airport once we landed as opposed to 45 minutes without the service. It was well worth an extra 20 or 30 dollars per person to have that service, said Mr. Hower.

In the video (click here for the video), Jake also advises against riding scooters on trips since most travel insurance policies do not cover travellers who get into an accident on a scooter.

If you rent a scooter, check your travel insurance policy to see if it covers scooters. Frankly, the risks associated with not being covered are probably not worth it, advised Mr. Hower.

Jake also advises travellers to take the socks offered by airlines whenever they are offered. These socks have been designed to increase blood flow so that passengers can decrease their risks of getting DVT problems.

The last tip Jake imparts is to get noise cancelling headphones for long flights.

Noise-cancelling headphones are good for a couple of reasons. One is that theyre great for watching shows on the plane. You can also keep them unplugged and put them over your ears to cut out a lot of the engine noise. Theyre actually quite good for sleeping in as well, advised Mr. Hower. Its well worth it to invest in a good pair of noise-cancelling headphones if you travel long distances once or twice a year.

Travellers looking for more tips can go to the blog at Pan Australian Travel.

Web Video Advertising Spend Increases 27% in 2012, Melbourne Video Production Gets Influx of New Client Queries

Melbourne, Victoria (PRWEB) December 03, 2012

Web video advertising spend has increased by 27% this year, as reported by marketing and advice website ClickZ last month. The growth is predicted to continue by a further 20% in 2013. Since the statistics were announced, a video production company in Melbourne is getting overwhelmed with new client queries. I think this report has woken up those businesses who werent sure about web videos effectiveness, says David Jenyns, web video expert and owner of Melbourne Video Production, Because weve seen a marked increase in new client queries since the statistics were made public.

Over the past decade, the uptake for businesses to go online has been relatively swift, but fewer were as quick to enlist into the web video revolution.

However slow in their coming around to using online video, the eyes and ears of businesses were perked when ClickZs report last month disclosed that spending for web video advertising increased a whopping 27% for 2012. Whats more, is the prediction that growth will increase another 20% in 2013.

A video production company called Melbourne Video Production has felt the impact of this news, noticing a marked increase in new client queries for their custom web videos. There were still many businesses out there that werent convinced on online videos usefulness, says David Jenyns, Melbourne Video Production owner and expert in web videos, So having clear stats showing online video’s popularity has clearly made them think again.

At the start of December, the video production company noticed their new client inquiries had increased significantly since the marketing statistics were released.

We didnt make the connection right away, David remarks, But now we see that the influence of other companies spending their marketing dollars on online video advertising was what set off the influx of new client submissions.

David continues, Its great to see so many businesses finally coming on board. Ive been saying, for many years now, that web video is the way of the future.

Melbourne Video Production offers a variety of web video packages, including FAQ, testimonial, as well as custom web videos to a wide variety of businesses. We can do everything from giving advice on how to do your own online advertising, says David, to producing short clips or full-blown scripted productions.

David also says that the marketing statistics further back up the need for all small to medium businesses to join in by creating web videos of their own. Its actually very easy and affordable. And with the growing trend for using online video as advertising, Id even say its necessary.

Melbourne Video Production offer a variety of pre-packaged web video services, as well as fully customized options, to cater for all variety of business types and budgets.

Melbourne Video Production Reveals New Time Saver Web Video for Online Retailers FAQ Series

Melbourne, Victoria (PRWEB) December 05, 2012

A new web video has just been released by Melbourne Video Production for their client Simply Headsets’ growing online FAQ series. The video specifically deals with the confusion associated with selecting the right headset adapter and aims to increase buyer conversion. Simply Headsets wanted to clarify how to choose between various corded headset adaptors, says David Jenyns, web video expert and owner of Melbourne Video Production, So, we produced and launched this latest online video, which will bolster their chances of turning browsers into buyers.

When a product is small, or has specific technical requirements, or is a combination of both, online retailers can have a difficult time conveying those little, yet important, details to their potential buyers. Many consumers won’t bother to contact a business for clarification, and that lack of understanding can send them running, and in the wrong direction.

David Jenyns, Melbourne Video Production owner and web video expert, claims No matter what product or service youre selling, your clients will have questions. And for every client who asks a question, theres probably 10 who dont.

Melbourne Video Production assert their packaged Time Saver web videos are the easiest, and most effective, way to cut through this kind of end-user confusion.

David states that recording a series of frequently asked questions (FAQ), which he coins Time Savers, is the best way to answer prospective customers questions, well before ever hearing from them. He says after watching a FAQ video, All thats left for them to do is buy. Thats truly smart marketing.

Davids video production team recently launched a “Time Saver” video for their client Simply Headsets, We decided to use this format so that Pete Williams, the owner of Simply Headsets, could easily explain how to select the correct headset adaptor cable.

The Time Saver web video package gets a company representative, or hired actor, to answer their top 5 frequently asked questions on camera, then Melbourne Video Production do the rest. Like this latest Simply Headset web video release, after we record the answers from the client, we edit, grade, encode, upload, optimise and even embed the video to the businesss website.

Web video is a sure way to knock down potential hurdles, continues David, And is the most effective method an online retailer can use to increase their buying conversion rate.

David also notes that Melbourne Video Production offers three web video packages, including the “Time Saver” one, as well as custom video and studio hire options.

Business Travel Management Releases Video to Impart Travel Tips from Bali

Melbourne, Au (PRWEB) December 07, 2012

In its weekly video blog, Business Travel Management shares travel tips from its Managing Directors recent trip to Bali.

Bali hotels usually offer an airport assistance service where their staff will meet passengers at the arrival gate to help them get through customs, collect baggage, and get their visa more efficiently.

Regardless of the hotel you are staying in, we can arrange airport assistance for you, said Jake Hower, Managing Director of Business Travel Management.

Based on his own experience with airport assistance in Bali, the help upon arrival speed up the process considerably.

According to Hower, it took him about 10 minutes to get through the airport once he landed as opposed to the usual 45 minutes without the service.

It was well worth an extra 20 or 30 dollars per person to have that service, said Mr. Hower.

In the video, Jake also advises against riding scooters on Bali trips since most travel insurance policies do not cover travellers who get into an accident on a scooter.

We see a lot of people here who are actually on scooters. Ive got a really big issue with that because your travel insurance in most cases wont actually cover you for riding the scooter, said Mr. Hower.

For travellers who want to ride scooters on their Bali trip, Hower advises them to check their travel insurance policy to see if it covers scooters.

Some airlines also offer socks in flight. Hower advises travellers to take the socks whenever they are offered because these socks have been designed to increase blood flow so that passengers can decrease their risks of getting DVT problems.

The last tip Jake shares with viewers is to get noise cancelling headphones for long flights.

According to Hower, noise-cancelling headphones serve many useful purposes. They can be used to watch shows on the plane, to cut out engine noise, and to sleep in.

Its well worth it to invest in a good pair of noise-cancelling headphones if you travel long distance, advised Mr. Hower.

Businesses Not Profiting from Social Media Get In-depth Strategies from FB Ads Lab New Video Revealing the Three Costly Mistakes on Facebook

Melbourne, Australia (PRWEB) February 04, 2013

Businesses that do not interact. Businesses that do not have a plan. Businesses that think selling on Facebook cant be done. These were the highlights of the latest FB Ads Lab video conducted by the founder of the full-service digital agency, Jennifer Sheahan. The revealing new video posted on the companys website covered a wide range of scenarios, strategies, and viewer questions that could help businesses currently not profiting from social media to turn their fiscally challenging situation around.

Sheahan shares with viewers, When we were preparing the notes for this, we came up with 30 mistakes that we found on Facebook. Thirty mistakes are a bit overwhelming Were going to just cover three mistakes to avoid, strategies that work now, what offers work best, and how you can position yourself to have an offer that works best.

Sheahan doesnt waste time in the video and goes right for mistake number one, which she refers to as the all work, no play approach. The FB Ads Lab founder underscores the fact that Facebook, like all other social networks, is a social platform. When businesses only push consistently for sales and never genuinely engage with their followers, Sheahan warns that customer loss is likely to follow suit.

She instead recommends businesses to implement a simple formula. She remarks, You should interact on Facebook by being real, natural, and honest. Just be yourself. You will attract other people who are like you and think just like you if you are just like you Far too many business owners post nonsense and never interact. They wonder why they have no engagement on their pages. Thats a huge mistake.

Among the ideal ways to engage customers or followers on the social network are using peoples names, liking their comments, and posting replies when comments are made on particular posts. According to Sheahan, these simple tasks easily establish connections with followers on Facebook.

Businesses that do not have a solid plan going into any social network is second on Sheahans list of costly mistakes. Saying that social media is a huge time suck, not having content and ad strategy plans would mean wasting precious investment. Sheahan recommends, A simple formula is to figure out three social networks that are best for your market. They might be Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn or Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. Instagram is interesting as well for some businesses, especially visual ones.

Sheahan also advises using a tracking system, which can determine whether FB ads sales are on target or if visitors to the companys Facebook page are even converting to sales. The FB Ads lab founder goes on to suggest, You need to have an email autoresponder whether you use Office Autopilot, MailChimp, Aweber or Infusionsoft. You want to follow up with people once theyve gotten to your website and opted in for your free report, gift, or video.

Sheahan points to the misconception that Facebook isnt a viable platform for selling as mistake number three. She tells viewers, You can sell on Facebook. We do it all the time. Our clients do it every day You just need to be smart about it This is the social traffic sales strategy that we recommend. Know what offers work best. Fill your funnel with targeted buyers. Follow up, interact, engage, and entertain. Then, ask directly for the sale. Its very straightforward.

What about offers that call attention and make pretty good profits on the social network? Sheahan says that anything related to entertainment, services, tourism (hotels and vacation), self-improvement (i.e., courses, seminars, and investing), and ecommerce are the usual kinds of offers that work best on Facebook.

Sheahan remarks about ecommerce, It is very powerful. If you have an ecommerce website I highly encourage you to talk to us We have a whole division working only with ecommerce websites.

FB Ads Lab is a full-service digital agency that specializes in Facebook PPC ads. Run by Jennifer Sheahan, who is an experienced and sought-after public speaker on a wide-range of marketing topics, FB Ads Lab has worked with some of the industrys best, including luminaries that have worked on US President Barack Obamas re-election campaign. To know more about strategies for better FB ads conversion and to watch the rest of Sheahans illuminating video, go to the FB Ads Lab website today.
