Preston Hire Announces the Benefits of Renting Construction Acrow Props to Save Money

Melbourne, Victoria (PRWEB) November 30, 2012

(Melbourne, Victoria 3000) — Preston Hire is announcing publicly today that renting instead of buying Acrow Props can benefit builders by saving money, increasing cash flow, reducing the need for yard storage space, and allowing builders to focus on the construction.

Steven Preston, media contact, was recently quoted as saying, “Buying construction equipment is quite an expense especially if it is only going to be used temporarily. New builders or those needing to cut costs can certainly do that by renting rather than buying equipment.”

Asked about the benefits of using acrow props, Mr. Preston said, “Propping is something that many builders need on various construction sites and acrow props are a perfect solution which can help make the work area safer for everyone. The number one reason to use the props is the safety of the builder’s crew. The props are simple and easy to use and can help make a potentially unsafe area safer. In addition, it makes the work-site much easier to access so that the crew can complete the work faster and because time is money, builders end up making more since they can go on to their next job sooner.”

Acrow props are strong, lightweight and can be easily adjusted to the correct height. Preston Hire’s props can be used for new construction, existing construction, and older buildings. The props have been in existence since the early 1930s and have become very popular since they are temporary and can be moved once the building or construction area is finished or repaired. More info about Preston’s Range of Acrow Props can be found here: http://www.prestonhire.com.au/hire-acrow-props

The props also come in 5 different sizes from the smallest No.0s which start at 1.041 metres through to largest No.4s which can go as high as 4.876 metres. An Acrow prop can hold as much as 42 kN, but as the prop is extended the maximum weight it can hold reduces. Preston Hire can help builders determine how many props they need to rent based on the size of the construction area which needs propping and the loads that need to be supported.

Besides the obvious safety reasons for using the props, what are some other benefits? “When companies rent the props and other equipment for a construction job, it is 100 percent tax deductible against the project it was rented for”, Mr. Preston added.

About Preston Hire

Preston Hire is owned and operated in Australia. The company has been providing intuitive and intelligent solutions for the construction industry for a number of years with experience to make the job easier for the crew. The easier and safer a job is for a builder, the faster it can be completed. Purchasing construction equipment is very expensive so the goal of the company is to offer innovative construction equipment such as props, loading platforms, gantries, bridges and formwork for hire to help builders save time and money.

Lexington, Mass. (PRWEB) December 05, 2012

A new whitepaper sponsored by Imprivata, the leader in healthcare IT security, and developed by IDC Health Insights, Imprivata Cortext: HIPAA Compliant Texting for Clinicians, reveals care team collaboration and productivity benefits of HIPAA compliant text messaging in the healthcare market.

“Our interviews with users of HIPAA compliant text messaging revealed a wide range of challenges using mobile devices in a healthcare setting before deploying a HIPAA compliant solution, including native phone texting is not HIPAA compliant, bring your own device (BYOD) demands, mobile device security concerns and the fact that not all clinicians are allowed to use mobile devices, said Lynne A. Dunbrack, Program Director, IDC Health Insights. “Our research revealed that lifting the security barrier that previously inhibited care providers from text messaging in a clinical environment allowed users, including cardiologists, radiologists, and anesthesiologists, to employ a wide range of departmental applications.

Despite the various departmental applications, IDC Health Insights’ study identified three benefits that were consistent across clinical departments and workgroups, including ease of use which accelerates clinical adoption, improved collaboration and enhanced productivity. Three clinical use cases that support these benefits were documented in the IDC report, including:
