Melbourne, Victoria (PRWEB) November 29, 2012

Proclaiming themselves as Australias best value bikes, Reid Cycles recently decided to launch a video to showcase how great their affordable vintage bicycles are for summer. Being launched only two weeks ago, their YouTube views have climbed beyond expectation. David Hannay, Marketing Manager of Reid Cycles remarks, The videos message has clearly worked, because the sales for our ladies vintage bikes has spiked considerably. Obviously viewers realize what great Christmas gifts they make at only $ 235.

Growing popularity for vintage-looking products has created steep prices, thanks to fashion trends and reality TV shows about trash & treasure hunting. For shoppers looking for a great gift for the summer holidays, getting the popular retro look without the high price tag can be a bit of a struggle.

Reid Cycles realized their popular ladies vintage bike range is a great solution for those seeking summer-inspired gifts, so they decided to launch a new video starring the famous retro bikes.

The video, entitled Summer at Reid Cycles Australias Best Value Bikes, is meant to express how ideal their bikes are for the upcoming summer season, and at a bargain price. With retro-sounding rock tunes and images of trendy couples engaging in all things summer, the YouTube video has far surpassed Davids expectations, nearly hitting 6,000 views in less than two weeks.

Were really pleased with how quickly this video has spread, David remarks, it shows people are sharing the knowledge that our vintage bicycles are stylish and well priced.

David sees this positive video response as the reason for their big sales spike leading into Christmas. The video tells the viewer, these bikes are fun, fashionable, and affordable, continues David, And starting at only $ 235, it makes sense our ladies vintage bikes have become the best gift for the summer season, and are selling so fast.

The ladies vintage bicycles, which come with Reid Cycles 15 year frame & fork warranty, 12 months free servicing, and $ 100 worth of free accessories, are available in single or six-speed. Theres also a variety of chic baskets to choose from.

David finishes by mentioning Reid Cycles current holiday special, Right now, were also giving customers 10% off the face value of gift vouchers. That means you can buy a $ 100 voucher for only $ 90.

Launch of 50th Anniversary Tour Creates a Rolling Stones Merchandise Sales Spike at Planet 13

Melbourne, Victoria (PRWEB) December 03, 2012

On 26 November 2012, The Rolling Stone magazine announced the launch of the 50th anniversary Rolling Stones tour. Playing in London’s O2 Arena, the aging rockers still packed out the venue for their enormous fan base. As the band grows older, their fans are becoming sensitive to the fact this tour could be their last. “The Rolling Stones members are beyond retirement age for most people,” remarks musician and owner of band merch store Planet 13, Shawn Scott, “and fans realize they may not be around much longer, so when the announcement came out earlier this week, we were hit with a Rolling Stones merchandise buying frenzy like never before.”

This past Monday, the Rolling Stone magazine reported on the Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary tour commencement. They remarked it was like a massive birthday bash. The band has been around long enough to accumulate one of the biggest fan bases around the globe.

“There aren’t many music groups still strutting their stuff after 50 years,” comments Shawn Scott, the frontman of a once-popular punk group Voodoo Lovecats, and owner of the online band merch store Planet 13, “So the Rolling Stones have fans in every generation. From retirees to school kids.”

Shawn goes on to mention that their radio-friendly rock music, combined with their famous “Tongue” logo, has helped their longevity. “Everyone knows at least a couple of theirs songs, like ‘Start me up’ and ‘(I can’t get no) Satisfaction’. And the same goes for their globally recognized ‘Tongue’ logo. Great music with great branding has definitely helped them kick on for so many years.”

After the band’s tour was announced, a new wave of fan interest hit the band merch store Planet 13. “It was literally the day after their London gig when our Rolling Stones merch sales spiked,” continues Shawn, “I think when the fans saw these living legends perform, it made them feel like they were back in the 60s, 70s, 80s, or whatever era they have fond memories of.”

Shawn points out that the fan nostalgia created by the tour announcement, combined with the upcoming Christmas holidays, is the most likely cause of the sales spike. “Fans love owning a piece of Rolling Stones memorabilia, so their merchandise makes a great gift for the holiday season.”

Shawn goes on to say that Planet 13 has also seen Rolling Stones gifts being purchased for different generations in the same family, just this week “A father got a Rolling Stones toddler tee for his son, and then a mug for his father, while the grandfather purchased a keychain and t-shirt for the father,” exclaims Shawn, “We all thought it was really cool to see Rolling Stones fans span three generations in one family.”

Record Number of Returning Workers Creates Small Window of Opportunity for Winter Job Vacancies at boobooSKI

Melbourne, Victoria (PRWEB) December 11, 2012

With freezing temperatures creating high hopes for big snowfall this year, Japans ski season is about to begin. The resorts are already receiving an unprecedented number of bookings from foreign winter sports enthusiasts. Popular Japan internship and resort job placement service company boobooSKI are also seeing record numbers of a different kind: in the volume of returning staff for their winter job vacancies. With repeat workers filling many positions, fewer prospects remain for those seeking winter placements. Were constantly looking for ways to improve our service, to both the hotels/resorts and our staff, says Adam Claydon-Platt, director of boobooSKI, Seeing so many of our past participants come back this year is an encouraging reaffirmation that our efforts are working.

Japan is becoming an increasingly renowned international destination for winter sports enthusiasts and this year is no exception. In line with the seasonal influx of tourists every year, more and more winter resorts are taking on a certain number of foreign workers for the season, allowing them to experience Japan as the locals do.

The window of opportunity is closing quickly for those wanting to be placed in cold-climate situations. Luckily, boobooSKI, a well-known Japan internship and resort job placement company, still have a few winter vacancies left.

Nearly 20% of our total participants this year are returning workers, says Adam Claydon-Platt, director of boobooSKI, Which is an awesome sign that they were happy with their previous experiences with us. The only drawback is for newcomers, because its left us with fewer remaining ski vacancies.

Since a fifth of Adams staff have returned to work this ski season, its made the window of opportunity smaller for new applicants wanting to obtain a winter position. Time is running out for the ski positions this year, Adam continues, in another week or two, all the positions will be filled.

Adam also notes that when repeat staff come back, their working experience becomes even better. Second time around, our team feel more like one of the Japanese locals, meaning they already know some people, theyre familiar with employers, the language, resort lifestyle, formalities and so on.

Adam credits boobooSKIs constant evolution in customer care as the reason for the spike in returning staff this year. He remarks, We continually work to improve ourselves, to maximise the service we deliver to both our customers and clients, in every way. We prepare our team to the best of our abilities before they arrive, support them as much as possible while theyre working at the hotels/resorts, and do our best to help them with anything they need afterwards, to ensure their transition into Japanese life and their travels are as smooth as possible.

Fortunately, Adams company also offers plenty of warm weather positions for those who miss the chance to get into the winter roles, Were also able to place applicants at amazing Okinawan beach resorts, in positions for approximately 3 months, at anytime throughout the year. Okinawa is so far south that the weather is warm enough for beach resorts to operate, even in winter.

Adam goes on to say that if an applicant is keen and speaks a little bit of Japanese, We should be able to secure a placement for them relatively easily.

boobooSKIs service for applicants includes initial eligibility screening, access to the best resorts, assistance with airfare, visas, insurance and more, including 24/7 support for the entire time they’re in Japan. Adam finishes by mentioning that boobooSKI is about Placing people in resort jobs with minimum hassle and maximum enjoyment.

To find out which vacancies are still available, visit: http://www.boobooski.com/contact/ or http://www.japaninternship.net for more information.

About boobooSKI

boobooSKI have taken their passion for Japan to innovate working and studying abroad. They help young people from around the world secure paid work in the countrys popular beach and ski hotels and resorts.

Their more recent internship programs were created for the promotion of mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and other countries; as well as to encourage students of various degrees, to improve their knowledge and skills by experiencing first-hand the internationally renowned Japanese work ethic, culture and approach to service.

News of Kurt Cobain Documentary Creates Shopping Frenzy for Nirvana Products at Planet 13

Melbourne, Victoria (PRWEB) December 12, 2012

Last month, the New York Post announced Brett Morgan’s plans to produce a documentary about legendary grunge rocker Kurt Cobain. The film will be overseen by Cobain’s widow, also a musician, Courtney Love. The talk about the much anticipated documentary has created a Nirvana product shopping frenzy at band merchandise webstore Planet 13. “Our Nirvana products have always been in high demand,” says musician and Planet 13 owner Shawn Scott, “But once fans realized the doco was really going to happen, their reminiscing morphed into sales!”

Kurt Cobain’s career was tragically cut short in the nineties, just when his band Nirvana was peaking in the newly formed grunge rock scene. Although fleeting, his life impacted the music world and left a gaping hole in the hearts of many fans.

Recognizing the need for a truly good documentary about the Nirvana singer, Brett Morgan (who also recently produced a Rolling Stones documentary), is organizing the details of the film with Cobain’s widow Courtney Love.

“I remember back when Kurt’s death was announced,” recalls Shawn Scott, musician and owner of band shirt store Planet 13, “MTV had dedicated support hotlines for fans to call in order to deal with the tragedy.”

The film isn’t expected to be released until 2014, but Shawn says that’s actually fueling his webstore’s Nirvana product sales. “The announcement of the documentary has reminded fans about how much Kurt’s music meant to them. Then the memories create the desire to connect again with that person, event or thing.”

Shawn goes on to say, “Because fans won’t be able to see the film for at least another couple of years, they’re gaining comfort in acquiring items from us that mean something to them. The licensed logos and images that appear on our Nirvana products are all synonymous with Kurt.”

Shawn mentions the media buzz around the Kurt Cobain documentary has caused a Nirvana product shopping frenzy at his music merchandise store Planet 13. “I think a lot of Nirvana fans are going to be really happy this Christmas,” remarks Shawn, “we’re sending out tons of Nirvana tees as gifts and some of the accessories as stocking stuffers.”

It’s been noted that the documentary is going to show the various aspects of Kurt’s talents, including his abilities as a songwriter, musician, artist and filmmaker. “This documentary is long overdue, the fans deserve it and I can’t wait for it to come out” says Shawn.
